On behalf of Organizing Committee, it’s a great pleasure to welcome you all to the 2nd International Conference on Occupational and Environmental Health. To continue our efforts in promotion of Occupational and Environmental Health globally, Occupational Health & Safety Management Consultancy Services (OHS-MCS) in collaboration with Department of Community Medicine, Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi will be organizing the ICOEH 2014: Mainstreaming of Occupational & Environmental Health, 26 - 28th September 2014, New Delhi, India.As witnessed, Occupational and Environmental Health has very limited acceptance and application in other medical streams. To promote the awareness of the stakeholders, this year the theme of the conference shall be "Mainstreaming of Occupational & Environmental Health". There will be many sub-thematic areas which will be deliberated upon during the 3 days of conference.
This conference envisage the role and acceptance of Occupational and Environmental Health by mainstreaming into all the stakeholder branches and advocate the need for advancement of this well established preventive clinical branch in many of the developing countries. The subthemes covered will be mainstreaming at policy and planning, education, implementation, industrial and informal sectors and rehabilitation. Mainstreaming of Occupational & Environmental Health surely will have enormous impact on the ways of health care delivery system of a country.
